The day unfolded quietly at Landgoed Staverden. A castle set among trees, long paths stretching into the park, and a glass house waiting nearby — light, transparent, almost still.
The ceremony took place outdoors, close to the castle. Intimate and unhurried. A small gathering, only those who truly belonged there. Nothing felt staged or formal. Just a moment shared, spoken softly, then allowed to pass.
Afterwards, the glass house became a place to pause. Cake cut slowly. Champagne poured. Light moving across the glass, reflections shifting as conversations drifted. It wasn’t a reception in the traditional sense — more a continuation of the day, gentle and unforced.
They walked through the park later, without a plan. Letting the celebration dissolve naturally into movement and silence. Hands brushing. Steps matching. The Netherlands in its quietest form — green, calm, familiar.
Nothing was repeated. Nothing was rushed. The beauty lived in how simple everything remained.
