SINT-ALOYSIUSKERK, UTRECHT, Netherlands
The day unfolded in Utrecht with a quiet sense of closeness.
A church ceremony, held in Sint-Aloysiuskerk, surrounded by only their closest people. Nothing felt large in scale — everything felt intentional, contained, and personal. Inside the church, the atmosphere was soft. Light filtered through the space, voices stayed low, and every moment carried a sense of presence rather than performance. The ceremony moved gently, without rush, shaped by the people who mattered most.
Afterwards, the day continued in a more relaxed rhythm. Close friends stayed with them, and the celebration shifted into something lighter — conversations, movement, and small moments that formed naturally without structure.
There was no separation between formal and informal parts of the day. Everything stayed connected by the same feeling — ease, familiarity, and quiet joy shared within a small circle.
I photographed the day allowing space for the atmosphere to remain unchanged. A wedding held close. And remembered exactly as it was.
