"base", PAPHOS, CYPRUS
The day unfolded at Base Venue in Paphos, surrounded by the light and openness of the Cypriot coast. A space filled with people from different parts of the world - Mediterranean warmth and Middle Eastern vibrance coming together in one celebration.
From the beginning, there was movement everywhere - guests arriving, greetings in different languages, textures of culture blending naturally into the atmosphere. Yet underneath it all, the feeling remained grounded. A sense of intention, of everything gathered for one shared reason.
As the day moved forward, the celebration opened up. Dinner, music, and a gathering that slowly grew into a full evening of energy and rhythm. Around 150 guests, each bringing their own presence into the space, creating a layered atmosphere that shifted between intimacy and celebration.
Before the night fully began, we stepped away to the beach for a short love story session. The contrast was immediate — from sound and movement to stillness and air. Just the two of them, barefoot by the water, the sea softening everything around them.
I was present in a calm, supportive way — gently guiding when needed, and stepping back when moments began to unfold on their own. The intention was never to stage the day, but to let real connection stay visible.
Later, the celebration returned in full form. Music, dancing, and the kind of atmosphere that builds slowly and then carries itself. I focused on observing rather than directing - allowing the scale of the day to exist naturally, without trying to reduce it.
A wedding shaped by contrast - between stillness and energy, between intimacy and scale, between sea and celebration. And held in balance from beginning to end.
